To further push forward the development of IAB industry in Nansha and attract more AI technology start-ups to settle in Nansha, on November 17, the “Lead the Clout Future in an AI New Era” 2017 Nansha·Greater Bay Area AI Summit was held. More than ten technology start-ups and leading financial companies including Heung Kong Group, Microsoft (China), iFLYTEK, trio.ai, Malong Tech and Megvii Face++ gathered in Nansha for attending the AI summit, of which the theme is “Lead the Clout Future in an AI New Era”.

The event was sponsored by the Administrative Committee of Nansha Development Zone and organized by Heung Kong Group with assistances from Microsoft (China). Honored guests including but not limited to the former Japanese prime minister Yukio Hatoyama, former vice minister of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee Hu Deping, former deputy director of the United Front Work Department of CPC Guangdong Committee Li Yangchun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Heung Kong Group Chi Keung Lau, President of Heung Kong Group Mei Hing Chak and Chief Operation Officer of Microsoft (China) Co., Ltd. Zou Zuoji attended the event.

The Microsoft Cloud & Mobile Technology Incubation Program - Guangzhou Cloud & Mobile APP Incubator was officially launched at the summit, with 11 AI teams which passed road show assessment granted with inaugural incubation certificates. Heung Kong Group and Guangzhou Nansha Industrial Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. announced to jointly sponsor an AI Industry Venture Fund of RMB 100 million. In addition, an AI Entrepreneurship Forum was also held, which raised a “brain storm” in Nansha AI development.
